Candidate
Meet the
Brit Robinson
is running for U.S. House of Representatives for Florida’s 4th District as a zillenial because we need passionate new voices from working-class backgrounds who will fight to put people first over the greed of entrenched politicians, corporations, and the ultra wealthy.
If elected, she would be the first active-duty military spouse Congressional Representative in history.
Early Life
Brit Robinson was born on Twentynine Palms, Marine Corps Base in California in 1995, the daughter of a proud military family with extensive service to the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, and Army.
She spent most of her childhood with her mother in California, spending summers with grandparents in Florida and family surrounding Washington, DC. Visiting her grandmother who had dedicated a 40-year-long career on Capitol Hill and sitting in the gallery of the U.S. Capitol to watch a congressional session was a foundational memory for her.
The experience of becoming a caregiver as a child and losing everything due to a family member’s illness left a lasting impact.
Before starting high school, Brit's mother got sick but couldn't afford health insurance and was unable to work, so Brit watched her mom's retirement savings quickly drain away on medical bills.
They relied on food assistance and public transportation for Brit to get to and from school, but lost their home resulting in her moving across the country to bounce from home to home of family and friends until she graduated high school.

We are fighting for all Americans to have access to a government-backed social safety net –
programs that will support American families on their most difficult days.
The Arts
While in school, Brit began an apprenticeship with artist Richard Duardo – a prominent Chicano printmaker widely known for using his fine art screenprinting as a tool for political activism and encouraging other artists to reclaim their power through screenprinting.
This helped to form Brit's foundational values about social injustice and the force of art to direct and fuel revolutions.

Brit went on to get her BA from Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland student loan-free on her father's GI Bill benefits – an advantage she will fight to expand so debt-free higher education is available to anyone who would like to pursue it.
Career
Brit spent her summers in college working in local restaurants and after graduation, she moved with her spouse through the progression of naval flight training, taking what jobs she could in retail, design, and legal aid.
Understanding the importance of having community support, Brit was highly involved in military family support groups, including holding positions as President and on Boards.
In 2024, after a year-long job search, Brit accepted a position with Veterans Affairs as an interior designer to improve VA clinics – only for it to be rescinded with President Trump's federal hiring freeze after inauguration.
The immense difficulty Americans have with finding jobs within their career field or even just jobs that pay a livable wage is an urgent crisis we want to solve.
Over half of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and are just one emergency away from homelessness.
We need a real plan for ALL Americans – not for just millionaires, billionaires, and trillionaires..
Looking Forward
It has been through her education and life experiences, that Brit developed her strong sense of empathy and support of the diverse lives of others, dedication to community, and resistance to anything or anyone that threatens our human rights.
Growing rapidly unsatisfied with the quality of representation members of Congress were providing, furious by the unmistakable disdain for minorities of the current administration, and horrified by the the sweeping destruction of the critical institutions that protect Americans... Brit decided it was time for change.
Less than 2% of members of Congress come from a working-class background, over half have a net worth of over $1 million, and only 28% are women.
Brit decided it was time for change.
We require effective policy, accountability, and real transparency out of our representatives.
Our campaign is based on one simple principle: putting People First.
The systems we have in place today are not "broken" systems. They are systems strategically designed to benefit a certain demographic, and intentionally exclude a majority of Americans.
Together,
we can make change happen.
We are the future.
We get to make the rules.
We want to hear from you!
